Whats my dream mean? i remember a wasp being the major thing.?
well, we were all in my back yard. apparently, we tied one end of a rope to the ground and started moving/circling away from that point. we stopped somewhere, and all of a sudden a wasp pops out (it was blue/greenish, not reddish like the wasps i've seen) and it was trying to sting me. it failed and flew away. my dad was further in the yard too doing something. then my best friend and i dropped the rope where the wasp tried to sting me and we measured that the length from end to end was about 4 feet. i don't know what this means. hope somebody can help me out.
I don't think in these terms, however, some people do. A wasp can be a picture symbol of a (white anglo-saxan Protestant) single white person.
The blue-greenish may refer to the color of his eyes.
That your father and brother were in the dream could mean the "wasp" represents a male.
Trying to sting you might mean that you feel the person tries to hurt your feelings with sharp words.
Your yard represents your turf (again, not everyone thinks in those terms)
The four feet could refer to the height of the white person.
or the distance in houses or blocks that this person lives from you.
So, put those thoughts in a running sentence and see what you get.
For instance, "you feel insecure when you leave "your turf" because you perceive that a white male (symbolized by father, brother) with blue-greenish eyes wants "to sting you" with words. He is around 4 feet tall or lives within 4 houses or blocks, etc., from "your turf."
When you have a "problem person" in your life (not family), you can dismiss the person from your thoughts simply by visualizing a big "X" and mentally superimposing it on the face of the person you are dismissing from your thoughts or discarding from your life.
Most people leave you alone when they discover that they cannot push your buttons.
If a person is "in your face" just SEE the X. Make it big so you can't see the person's features. Then, wordlessly move on.
Eventually, the person picks up on that fact that you no longer react to him/her and goes into orbit around someone else. People orbit into and out of our lives all the time.
From the time that you start using the X, do not talk to the person. Do not acknowledge the person. Do not answer the phone if the person calls. Have nothing to do with the person.
Studiously and deliberately use the X technique. Do not tell anyone what you are doing, they will not understand and will tease you or make fun of you.
The beautiful thing about using the X is that you deal with the person in a non-confrontational way. He/she has no desire to get even or even have vengeful thoughts because you do nothing TO the person.
You are purposely erasing that person from your life.
