how do i connect a OEM bose sub woofer to a after market amplifier?
i bought this 12" subwoofer on ebay and i want to connect it to my tsunami amp but there are 5 different colored wires coming out of the sub. what do these colors of wires represent?
blue/white, green/black, pink/black, red/white, black/white. the green/black and the blue/white wires are taped together, does this mean anything?
If you have not installed it yet, you have to run one of those sets of wires to your battery in your hood and attach them to it. This is the tricky part because it's better to have a place like best buy or circuit city install it. It's not expensive to do it that way. This is the only way you can get it to work properly and be able to attach it to the after market amplifier. You may need an extra cable that would be compatible with your amp. I had to do that when I purchased a system like that myself. I can't tell you exactly what all the wires represent with out looking at the out put connection labels. The ones taped together probably run to the amplifier output connection. I hope I helped.
