should i buy a mac or pc notebook for music production
i have around £800 ($1600) to spend.
i need to be able to use reason, cubase, ableton, and traktor scratch
what is the best for music production as there are pro's and cons with both mac and pc
Definitely a Mac - my friend is a composer and MD for pantomimes, and he swears it's the best thing he ever got.
EDIT: Jimmi P, you don't know my friend, you don't know what hardware he's had before - how can you possibly comment like that?
He does this for a living, not to show off to his mates - he wouldn't continue to use something on a daily basis that makes his job harder, and he certainly wouldn't brag about a piece of kit if he didn't like it. He's the kind of man who would frisbee it into the Thames if it did anything to annoy him.
