What amplifier do I need to run my PA Speakers?
Hi,
I own a pair of KAM KSF12 PA Speakers, and need an amp to power them, the specs are:
Frequency Range: 20Hz - 20KHz
Woofer: 12"
Tweeter: Compression Horn
Impendance: 8 Ohms
Magnet: 50oz
Continuous Power Handling: 200w RMS
Peak Power Handling: 400w
Maximum SPL: 90dB
I've been looking at buying this:

Will this be alright, or does anyone have any links/suggestions for a better one?

That amp will work just fine but keep in mind that it only puts out around 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms. What you need to remember is that any amp can blow your speakers if you push the amp so loud that it distorts.
You need to watch the peak or clip lights on the front when you are playing the system loudly. If they are lighting up, you need to turn it down.
