Do you ever look at Hubble telescope pictures?
Eye in the Sky
There is an object up in space,
An awesome sight to see.
Once in three thousand years it comes,
This time I feel for me.
The Hubble took it's picture there,
A lovely sight beheld.
I gaze upon it's image here,
And watch the colors meld.
The center is an orb of blue,
Surrounded then by white.
An oval of a reddish brown,
Lets through stars twinkling light.
This giant cloud up there in space,
Could be a gassy pod.
But I think I will choose to see,
The bright blue eye of God.
The picture written about is my new avatar pic.
I love the new avatar, and the poem as well. It is beautifully descriptive. The "eye of God" image is profound and very moving. That is exactly what the picture brings to my mind, with its mystery and beauty. Thank you.
