Wings, how good or how bad were they?
I've got several wings albums, but the best ones are the ones that Paul pretty much did himself. Wings had some good songs but other than "Band on the Run" the albums were just OK.
I guess you guys are young and just do not know. Among my personal list of the ten greatest albums of all time is Red Rose Speedway. It was not Wings most successful commercially but it was a superior album in many ways. In the span of time that Wings was around they had numbers of songs that were hits and many more that were great pop and rock songs. You just need to dig deeper and listen with a better ear.
