Can you suggest a good wireless microphone to use for web chatting?
I'm trying to reduce the number of wires all over my disk, one idea was to replace the mic with a wireless one. I found an "Xbox 360 wireless headet" on the net. Any idea if this will be good for voice chatting?
As far as I can tell, not owning one, the Xbox 360 uses a strange, proprietary wireless protocol, so you'd need an Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for your computer. Once you have that, the headset should work. If you don't have the headset, I don't think it's a good deal to get both it and the receiver, unless you have an Xbox 360.
My preference would be to get any standard Bluetooth headset, and Bluetooth dongle if necessary. Most Bluetooth dongles are small and cheap, so you could just leave it hanging on the back of your computer. That would also let you use any of a variety of Bluetooth headsets, keyboards, and mice.
