XLR USB converter for audio technica AT2020?
Hi,
I recently bought audio technica's AT2020 but I realized the output was integral 3-pin XLRM type. It did not come with a cable, and I'm thinking of buygin an XLR - USB converter. However this mic is a condenser mic requiring 48V DC phantom power. Can you recommend me inexpensive converters that are designed for this kind of mic?
Thank you!
Thank you classicsat for your answer. Can you recommend me specific products?
There is no such thing as a "converter" as such.
Anything with USB and XLR is an audio input (and sometimes output) device. My brief search shows they sell for around $60US, and generally do have phantom power. For what you likely want to to, that would be a sound investment (no pun intended).
